What are the chances?

Mr wtg had a cheapo set of Sony components from the 1970s. Speakers, tuner, amplifier, equalizer, cassette deck, remote control unit, remote control, and turntable. Everything came in a cabinet designed to fit the components.
We left everything except the turntable in our vacation home when we sold it. I'd forgotten the turntable was stashed away in the basement; I found it a couple of weeks ago.
Vinyl is making a comeback (see @Mark !) , so I put it up on craigslist last week and in less than a day I got an email from a guy who lives 10 minutes from us. His email read "I'll pay your asking price", which made me suspicious that a) he was some kind of scammer or b) that I had underpriced it. I had checked on eBay and knew the price was in the ballpark, so I thought it might be a).
He came by on Sunday and picked it up (paid cash) and was thrilled to death. He was crushed when we told him we originally owned everything, including the cabinet, but that all the other pieces were long gone.
I forgot to take the listing down and have gotten zero additional inquiries about the turntable. What are the chances that I would find the one guy who wanted it, that he was a stone's throw away, and that he'd pay what I was asking?
Time for a lotto ticket.

Excellent. Things go in cycles, and some people are discovering the virtues of the old stuff.
I "inherited" some audio components from my BIL who was moving. Big old 40 lb. receiver and 4 floor speakers meant for quadrophonic. I have no use for quad so set up just two of them. Also turntable, CD player and cassette player (which I didn't connect). The receiver is a bit wonky but works OK for what I need. I did hook up a gizmo to stream audio from my smartphone to the receiver.

I just got a new record in the mail yesterday. Got it off eBay: "Christmas at Liberaces".
I wanted it primarily because he recites Twas The Night Before Christmas on it. Side 1, Track 2.
