Yep. Pho and Ramen both. Great stuff.

Always on the lookout for the tastiest Pho broth! Going off-menu, MrsTuner usually orders a side of steamed veggies to add...

@Steve-Miller said in Pho!:
Have you tried Pho? Do you like it?
I haven't tried it, but now I want to. I Googled "Pho near me" and found a number of Vietnamese and Thai restaurants not far away. The closest is a Thai restaurant that I've eaten in but don't visit anymore because of the number of health department citations. Another Thai restaurant is just a few miles away and I think I may try it. Another option is a Vietnamese restaurant at about the same distance in the opposite direction.
Any advice on whether one or the other might be preferred and what variety of Pho I should try first? Also, are there decisions about how spicy to order it?

Pho is Vietnamese, so I think you’d be better off at a Vietnamese restaurant, rather than a Thai restaurant that’s adding things to cover more Asian bases.
I love pho. Beef rather than chicken. But my favorite thing at a pho restaurant is Bún bò Huế, another noodle soup that’s kind of spicy.

@Steve-Miller what's the name of the place? We haven't been to the Cleveland area in a while, but we'd love to try it if we're up that way.

I love the combination of flavors and textures. The broth is delicious in itself, but there are add-ins like bean sprouts, cilantro, basil, sliced onions, sauce, and lime wedges that really put it over the top.

@DeweyLOU “Gourmet Java Bistro and Dessert Shop”. It’s certainly more than that.

Became enraged for no reason after having pho years ago. Tried it again recently, not yummy, but no rage.
Must I go to Cleveland to phind pho happiness? -

After searching for "pho near me", I found a Vietnamese restaurant not far away.
Last night, I got their beef pho as a take-out meal and was delighted. It came as a bowl with plenty of noodles, bean sprouts, and other ingredients including the slices of beef, a small container of what seemed to be a hot chili paste to be added as desired, and some of the freshest, tastiest basil I've ever gotten, together with a container of broth to be combined with the bowl.
It made an excellent meal.

I'd bet that was Thai basil, which is just wonderful stuff.

Glad you liked it!
