WTF!? With friends like that who needs enemies. WTAF? She has ended her career in Democratic politics seemingly overnight. I don't think it will hurt El-Sayed and knowing now who she is, it's a good thing she'll be banned from the party.

    The industrial revolution cheapened everything.

I’d like to know what she was thinking. It’s not like that s was a good move for any political future at all. Won’t help her in the Democratic Party obviously but it’s not like it’ll help her in the gop either beyond Tuesday.

Usually the losing candidate offers perfunctory support and maybe votes against them in private as a tiny protest if it’s psychologically necessary.

But this I truly don’t get.

@Daniel There's a ton of links, but here's one to the Guardian...

I think half of her staff, including her chief of staff of 8 years, have resigned.

            https://www.freep.com/story/news/politics/elections/2026/11/01/haley-stevens-staff-resign-over-mike-rogers-endorsement/92551929007/

            And this from WaPo:

The Michigan Democratic Party kicked Rep. Haley Stevens out of its ranks Sunday, after she endorsed Michigan’s GOP Senate nominee, Mike Rogers — over Democrat Abdul El-Sayed, who defeated her in the primary.
“Congresswoman Stevens is not a current member of the Michigan Democratic Party, nor will she be in the future,” the state party’s chair, Curtis Hertel, said in a post Sunday on X..

Here’s a WaPo article worth reading. It sounds like it was a relatively last minute decision heavily influenced by her fiancé.

Boy, did she ever screw up. El-Sayed has raised $1.2 million since her announcement.

She’s talking to Anderson Cooper tonight.

@Daniel It's no secret that she's taken tens of millions of dollars from AIPAC. She must have just forgot she hadn't been running for the Knesset.

@kluurs @bernard I see bigotry here. I'm glad the state Democratic Party has kicked her out. I don't want to be associated with people who think and act like her.
