On a related note, clocks "fall back" an hour on November 1.

How do we feel about that?

I've said before - I liked that the time didn't change in AZ and HI much better.

I didn't realize this until I just now read it on Google AI but apparently "fall back" means "fall back to Standard Time".

That seems strange to me. The standard actually changes. I'm guessing Standard Time came first.

Of the times changes, this one is by far my favorite.

Wait why are they calling the other Mountain Standard Time (MST)?

So MST and ST are the same thing?

I wish they'd do away with time changes.

Remember when you could call a phone number and hear “At the tone, the time will be 8:23 and 20 seconds.” [BEEP]

Yeah I’m living through that twice this year. Last Saturday night/Sunday morning, and again this weekend.

American Airlines couldn’t handle the difference and the flight map kept telling us the wrong landing time and time at destination.

We should have abolished the time change by now. I no longer care which we stick with but enough with the twice-a-year change. It makes no sense.

              The industrial revolution cheapened everything.

You do it a week earlier than us?

According to wiki, Nevada and Connecticut still maintain the service.
                    As does the UK.
