Regarding the price, it's not surprising if it's really good chocolate, although it's more than I would spend. The price of chocolate is very high now due to crop failures in Africa. Heck, some 2 oz. chocolates go for around $400 a piece!
It's also not bad compared to some other "luxury" calendars. Bloomingdale's beauty calendar sells for $325. Dior's calendar? $800.
I usually go for the $1.25 calendar from the supermarket which gives me a whopping .0something oz. of chocolate (probably artificially flavored) each day of advent.

“For £5.99 you can pre-order a Christian Advent Calendar with Fairtrade chocolate from the Meaningful Chocolate Company.” He added that a donation is made to the Leprosy Mission and that the calendar includes a booklet on the meaning of Christmas.
Edited to add, I think $6 (£4.50) per chocolate is...
crazy expensive, outrageous, obscene, simply ridiculous,

Of course, she won't.

Then she actually did it the Queen's funeral.
Obscene.
To the point, she's a failure in business.
She's keeps trying because the part of her brain that is delusional has no off switch.
