It's getting crazy out there. The previous UF head of academic affairs, Joseph Glover, became provost at the University of Arizona about three months ago. Then both the UA president and UF president announced they're stepping down. Suddenly Glover ditches UA and scurries back to UF.
Both universities are dealing with spending issues. UA is deeply in the red, relative to budget and reserves.

Yes, we had a thread about this when he was selected. They had to have this crooked, egomaniac, Republican politician because... Florida.
Look at what an incompetent, extravagant, greedy failure he turned out to be.
This is Florida's flagship university. Every school in the Florida system has suffered under DeSantis or in the case of New College been completely ruined.

Florida never recovered from Bush vs Gore. There's a reason why it had to be stolen.
Republicans did nothing but consolidate power since that event.
It was a Democratic state when I was in HS. Bob Graham was the governor.
It's hard to believe now but it's true.
