House for sale not terribly far from me.

    The house and decor are....interesting.

    The grounds are lovely.

      Eclectic gone wild.

I wouldn't want to see their heating bill.

The red bathroom sink is a crime.

Imagining it without furniture I like it a lot.

Is that a good price? I dont know the US but compared to the house near Lake Erie which is smaller but more$? Difference just location or is the commercial look a factor?

Indeed! They have some interesting items, but perhaps just a little bit too many of them. 😄

OIC. The office building is actually on the back of the house and appears to be an addition done in the 1970’s. The close up pictures show that it’s not quite as overwrought as it looks at first glance and could be corrected with a few coats of paint.

The front is a lot nicer, more conventional facade, updated since 1938 but not horribly.

The photographer took some liberties with his wide angle lens. The rooms are a lot smaller than they anppear, as is the rest of the house, except for the primary bedroom upstairs - 15’ x 26’. That upstairs gallery represents a lot of square footage by itself, as does the second floor closet.

The kitchen is tight but it’s finished a lot nicer than the rest of the house. Laundry room is nice as well.

Looking at the baseboard heat, (is it electric?) the large windows across the back, the two story open ceiling, and the placement of a/c registers makes me think the house is nearly impossible to heat/cool.

Did you catch the angled mirror over the bath tub? That the water source is “Lake Michigan”? 🤔

              Love the yard.
