Watching, largely because I am tapering the prednisolone(prednisone) I have been taking since Dec. 1.
Don't feel up to doing anything else.

Watched it. I got chills and a little emotional watching that rocket lift off to the moon.

Yes, it's been a while since some truly attention worthy news, this is a day that will long be remembered.
For me it shows what we are capable of, what we could achieve in an ideal world.

Artemis II astronaut finds two Outlook instances running on computers, calls on Houston to fix Microsoft anomaly — puzzled caller describes ‘two Outlooks, and neither one of those are working’

Meanwhile, we are happy to learn that the toilet urine extractor fan has been fixed.

Why didn't it occur to me until today that Artemis was Apollo's twin...

This morning's wake-up call for the crew was a message recorded by Jim Lovell a couple of months before his death last year.

“Hello, Artemis II! This is Apollo astronaut Jim Lovell. Welcome to my old neighborhood! When Frank Borman, Bill Anders, and I orbited the Moon on Apollo 8, we got humanity’s first up-close look at the Moon and got a view of the home planet that inspired and united people around the world. I’m proud to pass that torch on to you — as you swing around the Moon and lay the groundwork for missions to Mars … for the benefit of all. It’s a historic day, and I know how busy you’ll be. But don’t forget to enjoy the view. So, Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy, and all the great teams supporting you – good luck and Godspeed from all of us here on the good Earth.”

                Jim Lovell

I turned on the livestream at about 11 this morning and have had it on all day. The fly by was fascinating! Can’t wait for the photos from Artemis.

I keep seeing the name and thinking "Axemis". No idea why.

The photos the came back after the flyby yesterday are amazing. For what it’s worth, I’m ignoring every photo on social media and only trusting those directly from NASA. But they are pretty spectacular.
