Attention tomato growers
-
Just watched a video where a guy picked a slice of tomato from a McDonalds hamburger and planted it. It grew remarkably well!
Odd looking, though. Shaped more like a Roma than a slicing tomato. Maybe they ship better or something. Grew it in a 5 gallon bucket filled with potting soil. Easy enough.
Gonna try it!

Can't be a Roma - not big enough diameter. Could be a Roma hybrid, though. Will be interesting to see.

I don't think I'd want to mess with McDonald's products because they're likely genetically modified.
My neighbor grew some purple tomatoes and surprised me with a sandwich bag with some when they were done. The color was interesting and they were pretty good.
Did you know that McDonald's potatoes are put in a building and sprayed with a pesticide so strong that workers can't enter the building for days?
I'm interesting experiment, though. I never would have thought of it.

That’s what happened when I tried planting grocery store green pepper seeds
The plants I got were very small with only one or two tiny peppers.
