        Not me. We're out in Las Vegas preparing to welcome granddaughter Raven on New Year's Eve!

        But one of our neighbors goes a little crazy every year ...

          I’m loving these slender trees! So much less intrusive than the big bushy round ones. We don’t have a lot of room for a tree, and I stopped putting one up when the kids moved out.

          Here’s my tree this year, same as before but slightly different ornaments. Forgot my sock monkey!

            @Piano-Dad I love to see those kinds of displays, but I’m not sure I’d want one in my neighborhood! 😅

            @adagiom I love your display!

                              Merry Christmas to one and all!

                              Here’s the tree. Family will be by this afternoon to open presents.

                                  If You Tube is to be believed I think those potatoes are “roasties”. Looks like there are several different cooking methods and all of them look delicious! 👍

                                  How do you make them? What’s the best kind of potato to use?

                                    Medium sized potatoes (not small new or large baked) chopped to the size you want.
                                    Par boil them 5mins or so, then cover in oil (and honey) and roast until golden (about 20-15 mins at 210). Very tasty.

                                    Wife is in the jumper; she carved the meat to serve easily.

                                    Out decorations were very last minute this year due to my carpert laying and 4 collies.

                                        Most of it is permanent, hiding among the bushes and trees.

                                        I suspect it's mostly LED, so not particularly expensive to operate compared to the older systems.
