Bloomscrolling--what's in bloom where you are?

That is lovely.
Don't think I've said we went to an open garden thing last weekend (entrance fee goes to charity) in Great Langton, N Yorkshire.
All agreed it was the nicest house& garden we've visited. Here's a few photosEntrance to garden view
Lawn & fountain where we sat to eat scones jam & cream
House, from around 1750
rather nice Troughton sundial
Fabulous mature walnut tree
The back yard was a mass of roses
I went to their loo in the old backyard washroom and passed a stick barometer and bird frame mirror, both from the early 1800's.
The entrance/exit by the back yard was through a low ancient toolshed, and had swallows flying in & out feeding their fledglings. The owners farm the adjacent land, this garden is her (30 year) hobby. There were jersey cows 50 yards from the front door.

Two kinds of thyme. One is lemon thyme and I donβt remember what the other one is.

I love that windblown and wild English garden type of garden. Especially with lots of roses.
Our tiger lilies are about to bloom. Our yellow rambling roses are about done. The deep purple clematis is making a fine show. Still waiting for my pink antique damask roses to bloom--tons of buds swelling, but no flowers yet. Maybe they need food? We have lots of blue flax blooming, too. I still have so much weeding to finish so I can get my annual seeds in before it is too late. The tomato bed is ready--just have to wait for the winter weather to pass.

The soft orange roses are a fave!

Weβre in Canada in a charming little town called Niagara on the Lake. Six block downtown area is lined with flowers on both sides of the street; pots, planters, you name it.

@Steve-Miller Simply lovely! Enjoy your time in Canada.

Empress Wu Hosta. It's huge! I dare say about 5 feet tall.
Although it doesn't flower, the ferns next to the Hosta are just as big.
I don't have many Foxgloves this year. Only a few plants scattered about the yard. (But I have more Hollyhocks than ever before! Looking forward to them blossoming, one of my favorites.)

Somebody help me with my tarragon! Itβs out of control.

@RealPlayer Point at it with a stern expression and exclaim with authority, "Tarra, gone!"
Sorry, RP, I can't help.
