        I don't want to mention the name (to avoid spoiling it for others) but their choice did not surprise me, sadly. And I guess thinking outside the box (all three are Steinways) was too much for them.

          What a missed opportunity!! What about a Bosie? Fazioli? Throw in a Yamaha CFX and a Shigeru Kawai....

          Now that would be an interesting process, to choose from among such a wide range like that.

            Not sure if it's entirely because the buyer did not "think outside the box." It could be that no dealer/supplier of the other makes could afford or wanted to ship a piano there, set it up, prep it, and leave it there for a few months just for a shot of maybe making a sale.
