nice! You know, I’ve not really played any Chopin…. Although years ago, when I still lived in Japan and hadn’t been playing piano for very long, I did try to work on Op 28 No 15, the Raindrop Prelude, but I quickly realized I was in over my head.
Anyway, my teacher wants me to play the Em prelude (Op 28 No 4), and I can see from the score that it should be well within my level of playability now, so that’s in line for me to play next, I’ll probably start it after the April recital is over.
What cello music are you working on these days?

nice! You know, I’ve not really played any Chopin…. Although years ago, when I still lived in Japan and hadn’t been playing piano for very long, I did try to work on Op 28 No 15, the Raindrop Prelude, but I quickly realized I was in over my head.
Anyway, my teacher wants me to play the Em prelude (Op 28 No 4), and I can see from the score that it should be well within my level of playability now, so that’s in line for me to play next, I’ll probably start it after the April recital is over.

So I'm not taking cello lessons at the moment, I haven't for a few years and I'm starting to miss it. This fall I plan to enroll in a group piano class at the music school and see who is out there for cello teachers. But I can manage quite well right now without a cello teacher because I know what has to be done, but the climb is slow and steady. Also, my main focus is on piano right now.
I heard this piece "Les larmes de Jacqueline" by Offenbach last month and went looking for the music. The best I could find was a transcription for harmonica and harp written in G clef, but I downloaded it and am in the process of writing it out in F clef and C clef (where necessary) because that's what I'm most comfortable reading for cello. A good exercise in vibrato.

Just listened, what a gorgeous piece!!! Wow! I can see why you would want to play it!

"transcription for harmonica" is not something I expected to exist!
