I keep saying I don't need any more cookware

...but I bought this pan at my Costco warehouse last week and used it for the first time tonight.
It was only $29.99 at the warehouse and came in blue and what they call gray, but which looks pretty beige to me. Sale ends 12/20.
It's really nice. It has a ceramic nonstick coating and it comes with a spatter shield, a silicone trivet/hot pad, and a couple of very nice beechwood utensils. Interestingly enough it's also induction compatible.
It also comes with a steamer. We steamed a couple of different kinds of filled dumpling things (one Korean, one Chinese) we also picked up at Costco. I covered half the steamer with Napa cabbage leaves so the dumplings wouldn't stick to the steamer, and steamed some broccoli on the other half of it at the same time. The lid has a silicone rim so you get a really good seal and the steam didn't escape.
I think I'll be using it for a lot of stovetop steaming!
Oh, and there's no black plastic....

Speaking of cookware, has anybody tried Anyday Cookware?
It’s for the microwave, and it says you can boil, steam, bake, crisp…whatever. I have a friend who likes it, and she’s pretty picky, but also likes to cut corners and git ‘er done, so I’m not sure where this falls along that line.
