    Long-ish video comparing Judy Garland singing Somewhere over the Rainbow, and Kelly Clarkson’s pitch corrected rendition.

    I knew it was going on but nowadays I can really pick it out.

      I had no idea this pitch correction thing even existed... and for live performances?! Super fascinating video. And now I think I finally understand why Marc Wienert said that it could be the way he tunes unisons that makes his tunings so compelling for me. He's careful not to make them "martini dry"--as Darrell Fandrich called it (and that was also how he made unisons).

        Oh wow, thanks for posting this, @Steve-Miller ! I only watched the first 6 minutes or so, I’ll have to come back and watch the rest later.

        But yeah, “too perfect” is never good. That’s why I was never truly satisfied with having a digital piano, in that “too perfect” experience, the total absence of truly organic sound, there’s no magic…
