Klobuchar was just on Face The Nation throwing Biden under the bus on all his pardons, including Hunter.

            Dementia?

It occurred to me that he may have felt like, since he pardoned Hunter, he needed to pardon a whole bunch more?? Like a weird guilt thing?

I don't think Joe is big on guilt.

Sadly enough, it appears to be an accident. Nobody vetted the list.

                  Exactly, it is inexcusable.

                  And so, so stupid. 😠

Stupid is a good explanation. The pardons provide cover for Trump. Whatever Trump does with pardons can now be partially justified by Biden's actions. It will be interesting to read some of tell-all stories that come out after Biden leaves office. Both parties need a new generation of leaders - maybe even skip a generation.

It's worse than stupid. It's careless.

I think we have to get out of this lowering of standards mentality, the "the other guy did it, so we can do it too" frame of mind. Neither side has had a particularly good track record for taking the moral high ground, but yes I agree, Teh Donald doesn't need any encouragement. He's as unrestrained as anyone.

As for the pardon debacle...hard to believe it happened. I'm deeply disappointed. And frustrated.

                              I agree with you 100%.

I just don't think anyone in the right position has the stomach to make it happen. 😕

Fetterman's looking promising there. He seems unafraid to say the emperor is naked. The irony is not lost given his sartorial splendor.
