An attorney representing two women who testified before the House Ethics Committee told ABC News in an interview that former Rep. Matt Gaetz paid both his adult clients for sex.
Florida attorney Joel Leppard told ABC News' Juju Chang that one of his clients also witnessed Gaetz having sex with a third woman -- who was then 17 years old -- at a house party in Florida.
"She testified [that] in July of 2017, at this house party, she was walking out to the pool area, and she looked to her right, and she saw Rep. Gaetz having sex with her friend, who was 17," Leppard said.

Guess his chats with Senate Republicans over the last few days didn't go well....Gaetz has withdrawn his name from consideration for AG.

The Democratic Party thinks and acts like it owns certain constituencies. Likewise, they do not think nor act like they have to earn anyone's vote.
Will they learn anything from this election?
I'll believe it when I see it.
I've seen no evidence of it yet.
I've seen liberals' typical smears that anyone who didn't vote for Harris is predjudiced against Blacks and women.
I don't have any time for that kind of nonsense personally. I'm done with it.

@Steve-Miller Don't understand your disdain for Tulsi. She was my Rep. when I lived in Maui Country.
I don't perceive her as stupid. And you know I wouldn't hesitate to say it if I thought it.
I like the fact she understands and tries to communicate the fact to the public that politicians and members of the military swear allegiance to the Constitution not a president.
I agree with her and thinks she makes an important point the US is and has been involved in a series of endless regime change wars, that this is the wrong foreign policy, and wrong use of resources.
I don't understand why she says what she does about Palestine from what little I've heard and especially in light of the fact Iran is and has been for a long time on the on the US list of regime change targets.
I can't say I understand how she's qualified for this job.
I'm not saying she's a genius but I don't think she's stupid.

President-elect Donald Trump has selected Stephen Feinberg to be his deputy Defense secretary, two people familiar with the decision told POLITICO, potentially putting a secretive billionaire financier with no experience in the agency into the Pentagon’s No. 2 job.
Feinberg, who had a role on Trump’s intelligence advisory board during his first term, is a major donor to the president-elect, but his selection could present some significant conflicts of interest. He is the chief executive of private equity firm Cerberus Capital Management, which has investments in military aircraft training and maintenance, and holds a majority stake in Navistar Defense, a manufacturer of military vehicles.
Feinberg has yet to accept the offer, though one of the people familiar said he is expected to accept.
Through Cerberus, Feinberg this year launched Cerberus Venture One, which is focused on investing in defense technology. Normally, federal officials recuse themselves from taking part in any decisions relating to companies they once worked for or have investments in, meaning Feinberg could face a complicated task doing the deputy job, which is focused on budgeting and technology development.

@AndyD He has always demanded fealty from his underlings, and he made the mistake (in his mind) during his first administration of having people in his cabinet who didn't execute his every instruction.
He's a sucker for praise, and the so-called adults he's surrounding himself this time around are getting their respective jobs because they have kowtowed to him. They have few scruples and their own agendas, so they won't do anything to stop him.
I doubt that his party in the legislative branch (which has the majority) will have the guts to speak out either. We saw some of condemn him after January 6th and then cave and support him eventually. If he declared martial law, you won't see legislators fighting to get into the Capitol building to vote against the president as the South Koreans just did after theirs declared martial law.
