I just noticed something I miss from the old forum site - signatures, Not everyone used them, but some had links to people's other websites or pithy little bits of wisdom. Is there something equivalent here?

@Big_Al It looks like you already have your signature set up here. After each of your posts, I see the following, which is the same as what you had at WTF.

No, that is what I was thinking of. I was asking the question because some people had links to their music, websites, etc. in their old signatures and had not recreated those signatures here. I didn't even think about my own signature that I had imported.

I'm glad you brought up the topic of customizing a user profile here on WTF-Beta. I kept planning to do some additional threads about some of the features that I have found to be useful and/or neat. This thread is encouraging me to get off my butt and put some tutorials together! Of course if anyone is using a feature that they've found really useful, please be sure to share it!
I kind of like the "reactions" feature. Whenever someone reacts to one of my posts, I get a notification flag that tells me a) which post got a reaction and b) who reacted to it. I like the feedback. And I use it when I just want to give a thumbs up/"like" a post without doing a separate post.

So if anyone wants to create/update their signature line:
- Click on your avatar in the upper right hand corner.
- Select "Edit profile" from the dropdown.
- Update your signature (and any other info you might want to add, like your website).
- Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the Profile page and "Save changes".
You can also change your Picture if you don't want the default icon of the first letter of your user name.
- Click on your avatar.
- Select "Change Picture"
- Upload your picture, either from your device directly or from a URL. I decided to keep my WTF avatar of my pup Maggie, so I just logged into the original WTF and did a "copy image link" of my pic over there.
- Save Changes.
