We have had almost all of our artwork packed up since we moved into this rental house last year, so I'm really looking forward to being able to have things on the walls again. And I think there's more wall space in the new house than in our old house, so I'm starting to think about what to do with it. There are lots of great ideas online. And some... not so great ideas. Like this thing of putting artwork on top of the sofa and leaning it on the wall. What?

I love the sofa, but I feel like this is a design choice made by someone who doesn't understand how to actually use a sofa...

We have had leaning artwork - but always on a taller cabinet. In our current place all of our framed pieces are hung on the walls.

I don't really have a problem with leaning artwork, leaning mirrors etc. But I look at that sofa artwork and see an accident waiting to happen! 😄
