FYI - The forum software doesn't currently handle embedding for x.com . If you change x.com to twitter.com , the tweet will embed here on the forum. Otherwise it's just like any other link and it will open in a new tab.

Nor should it. Why does anyone with sense go to Twitter any more? Are you literally trying to further enable its monstrous owner?

Posting and internet surfing habits and preferences vary widely among users. Most browsers have a setting that allows the user to block embedding by social media sites like X/Twitter, LinkedIN, and Facebook. I have the browsers I use set to do exactly that.
Perhaps you should do the same, if you don't already. And, of course, avoid clicking on any links to sites you find objectionable.

And if you were a master perfumer you'd have lots of scents.
