Sheetz is based in Altoona, PA and now stretches across much of Appalachia. If you want to stop for gas and get something to eat at the same time, it's a real choice. As noted in the article, a lot of it is not gourmet food, but some is more than possible. I think the Schmuffin was the item they first established a reputation on.
They have stations all across my area.
