Here's hoping but I don't trust the polls.

    The industrial revolution cheapened everything.

It's not infallible by any means, but I trust Polymarket more, and that's looking hopeful.

Hegseth has been removing generals for a reason: they want loyalty, not integrity. We may be at the point where that is put to the test.

                I voted early in-person yesterday.

                Now we wait…

                    What did I miss?

It's probably too early to tell.

I spent almost the whole day d oing house projects, cleaning, paying bills, making medical appointments, and "self care". As usual. I need a lot of "self care" time every day. I have to cut my hair every day. I have to follow a schedule of medications every day (some of us do). I still (rather absurdly) have to do laundry in the kitchen sink every day. I have to wash dishes, eat, wash dishes, eat, wash dishes every day and nauseum. I have to coordinate using the kitchen sink for dishes and laundry because you can't do one and the other at the same time obviously, I have to take out the trash every day of course. I'm still finding things to donate ow away. It's a lot. I love my place. I love my new life. But it's a lot.

I feel kind of guilty I I didn't follow the elections, nor the wars' (plural) escalations, yet.

'But as they said in one of the later Rocky movies, "Time...it's undefeated.".-- Mik

Some good news so far: NH being called for Pappas. First openly gay male Senator.

                      The industrial revolution cheapened everything.

Keisha Lance Bottoms wins election for governor in GA. Her opponent spent $250 million of his own money on his campaign.

@steve-miller is right. The system is working.

Trump personally chose Paxton and Darlene Graham and basically pushed Tillis out.

                            All three seats are flipping.

Kevin McCarthy is on ABC. He thinks the Dems could get to the 230s in the House.

And GOP redistricting seems to have backfired. They’ve already lost three seats in states which had their maps redrawn by the GOP
