I fasted yesterday and am today. I know (this is not advice) I need to and I got sick of whatever that roadblock was that was keeping me from not giving in to temptation.

It I'm being honest, I can look in the mirror and tell that my health has suffered in the last six months.

For one thing, my home is infested with mold. It got this way when my roommate stole the FEMA money that was given to him because he did the application. You all will remember that it ended up raining in the hallway and kitchen, and the ceiling tiles in the living room and my bedroom were holding water and about to give way. Well, it rained in-between the metal outer walls and pressboard interior walls at that time, meaning it flooded the electrical wiring. That's not my problem, but it brings me to something else that has had an adverse effect on my health.

The electricity bill was in my name. My roommate paid it. To make a long story short, he changed the administrative password to the account, ran up the bill, called Duke Energy, lied to them when he told them I had moved and skipped out on the bill, and started an account in his name. He ran up his own account, and the electricity was shut off with no way of turning it on.

This will be my second summer without electricity, but it was winter when it was turned off. So, I have been without electricity for a winter, spring, summer, fall, 2nd winter, 2nd spring, and soon 2nd summer.

It's past the point of discomfort. I can't control the temperature. I can't store food. I can't cook food.

But the worst effect on my health has been and continues to be living under the same roof with a person I used to know who for reasons I won't try to explain has decided that I exist to be the scapegoat for the anger, disappointment, and frustration he feels about his own life.

It would makes sense to wonder when it will be possible for me to move.

Well, I have to sign/ notarize one more paper. It was supposed to come one week, but they closed the office. It was supposed to come the next, but the accountant had to re-do his submission to the Court because the value of the estate went above the figure he submitted (so, there's that).

I'll have to continue to live here for probably a few months after the settlement hearing.

This is because I need to buy a car and I'm buying condo instead of renting. I don't need to tell any of you that this will take time.

Thanks, jon. It's ok. I'm playing the long game.
