And just over our garden fence where we see it far easier than our neighbours, one of the most beautiful camellia bushes ever

Look at all the buds. Cut 5 flowers and they last 3 days indoors, but there's a months supply. I feel a cutting coming on.

I think this front garden hedge will be bright yellow in a few days

I stopped and took a photo of some daffs.
The circular bed on the left is mainly tulips with hyacinths. Left of that just out of shot is an old bed with hyacinths still flowering through the grass.

We have a dogwood tree in our yard. Somehow, neither of us remembered that! We are actually wondering if it didn’t bloom last year, if that’s possible? Anyway, it’s pink, which is lovely. I’ll try to grab a pic later.

The cherry blossoms in the neighborhood were not very impressive this year, the weather did them in I think. They were still pretty but not as spectacular as last spring. But they are all done.

Now the crabapples are blooming, really gorgeous. (They seem more robust than the cherry trees). The red bud trees are blooming too. And lots of cheery daffodils.

My gooseberries are almost settled into their new home, out of the large pots I had them in and into these new raised beds:

It's kind of cold out today but sunny, so I'll try to finish filling that bed up with compost and soil.

We planted a dogwood on our parking strip last fall. It looked like twigs when the neighborhood magnolias and cherry trees were blooming. Now it’s time!

Lovely shade of green. If cut how long will they last in a vase?

I don’t know how long they’d last, except that my cat would probably chew it! So I don’t bring cut flowers inside. Sometimes they grace the table on my front porch!
