    I made another recording to share with the Piano Tell online recital, so I wanted to share it here. I'm supposed to play this (along with one other piece) at a retirement center next week. I'm mostly ready... kinda sorta.... 😅

                That's a relaxing piece of music (much needed as I just made the rounds of today's news). Very lovely played. I would bring out the left hand even more; it won't be too much.

                The industrial revolution cheapened everything.

                  Re the LH -- yes! I actually played it for my teacher yesterday, probably the best I've ever played it. It's such a "simple" piece (i.e., not "notey") so it kind of lives or dies by the musicality.... Which is always hard to capture in recording or performance bc of nerves. 😕
