Yeah, I am under the impression that Greenland has lots of ice.
On to branding:
Rename "Greenland" to "Trumpland," create a new chapter for "The Trump Purchase" in the history books -- bigger than the Louisiana Purchase at 828,000 sq. miles, Greenland has 836,000 sq. miles. -
They met today and agreed to disagree. A working group is being formed.

This, a military defense, makes more sense to me than attempting diplomacy with this gang.
I'm no expert on the art of diplomacy, but could it be that people known to be lightweight sycophants and pathological liars would have any actual desire, but especially any actual ability, to conduct diplomatic negotiations?
My grandfather, who was a career NCO in the Air Force, and served in three wars starting with WWII, must be rolling in his grave. He was stationed in Greenland for a year during WWII.
I'm glad my grandparents didn't have to witness this state of affairs, 9/11, and everything that has happened between then and now.
My grandmother was a Democrat and a realist. she would have dealt with all of it better than my grandfather. Her life was divided between being a military wife, raising three children, and myself to an extent, due to exigent circumstances, moving her family around the world, and finally keeping a house and working a job in the private sector with a 20 year vesting.
But my grandfather, in addition to his family responsibilities, devoted his life to the service of his country. He was patriotic to the core. I know he would have been stoic about all of it, but none of this would have made the least bit of sense to him, and I think it would have broken his heart.
