Replacing the range

This vid isn’t very good but might be useful:
Link to videoMy takeaway is that I’ll no longer consider my beloved Whirlpools (hecho in Clyde, OH), and it’s time to look at GE and Frigidaire. I’ve seen the same info elsewhere.

We're happy with a gas hob and two separate cheapo ovens, all branded as Lamona. I couldn't see myself spending even 5k on a range.
That mega expensive range is huge, and honestly 142k 🤪 then another 33k for the hood and rack?

More beautiful than La Cornue, imo, and an affordable price! And it's in NH. If I were younger, maybe... https://nh.craigslist.org/atq/d/hancock-majestic-cookstove/7890849350.html

Hope you like splitting firewood.

@Steve-Miller I buy my wood dried and split, and this year's delivery will sit out in a pile until next summer, when I'll stack it under cover for use next year. Really dry is key to good fires. Buying dried wood is more expensive than green, but still cheaper than oil. I only had to buy 3 cords this year because of left over from last year.

Then a wood stove might be just the thing!
