Nutrition has become a keen interest of mine and this data doesn’t surprise me at all.

Not that it will do much good, however. The majority of people -worldwide, as it turns out - get their nutrition info from TikTok, , Reddit, Xitter, other influencers, and manufacturer’s advertising. I don’t see that changing any time soon.

I just eat a balanced diet, whole foods, lots of fruits and vegetables, chicken and fish mostly for protein, olive oil mostly for fat, very limited refined sugar, one gram of omega 3, 2000 IU D3, a multivitamin and 7 hours of exercise a week. I've lost 35 pounds this year so far and have a three year plan to get where I want to be - 185. Probably put on three to five pounds of muscle. But I refuse to take extra protein.

And all those protein bars come with a boatload of added sugar. No thank you.

Not to mention their taste and texture are both abominable. Go for a Kind bar, dark chocolate sea salt and nuts. Pretty good protein, high fiber, low sugar and utterly delicious.
