I think my experiments with Roundup are over. For all the hype, I found it only moderately successful for the job I had tasked it with. One area has been cleared quite well, but it was a struggle even with the Roundup and took more than one application.

      The industrial revolution cheapened everything.

Only time I used it was for poison ivy and Japanese knotweed. For the latter I cut it to ground level and paint the stuff on the cut edge with a small paintbrush.

I've used Roundup to eradicate Bermuda grass lawns and convert to desert/native plants. I wouldn't touch it now.

The alternative is to cover the lawn in black plastic in the summer (April through September in Arizona!) and basically kill it by drought and heat.

A poorly designed spray rig soaked me with a strong solution of Roundup many years ago.
I was unable to get to a shower for a while. That was before it was learned how bad it can be.
I use it around my place with plastic gloves with good results. I use soap and water anywhere it may have contacted my skin.
