    It seems like winter has descended again on northern New Mexico and Colorado.

    Here is the back garden seen from my security camera, with the snow falling. On open ground some of it was sticking. May the freakin' 6th.

              I think global warming effects are with us here in the North of England.

              April was the sunniest warmest and driest I can recall.
              We've had one 20 minute hailstorm last Friday week but apart from that no rain in well over a fortnight.

              Checking the forecast, there's no chance of rain until 22nd May!

              It has to be the driest sunniest warmest May too.

              Heating is off and back door open like it's August.

                The wildflowers in the Columbia River Gorge are at least two weeks ahead of where they were last year. I went to the same place, and there was just a couple patches of bloomed out balsamroot left, unlike last year.
