Could it be particular to your area? I have to book a rental property frequently in Missoula, and it seems like open dates are even scarcer, earlier, than is typical. Either reservations are booming or a lot of properties were taken off the platforms. I use both AirBnB and VRBO.

It's by and large an environmentally conscious industry to begin with.

Nice knife. Nice bouquet. Cute little brown paper-lined garbage can. Is he going to throw those clippings away, or compost them (as he should)?

@wtg said in OK, this ice cream sounds pretty damn good: I'm not getting the Skyline Chili flavor. Is that for real? It doesn't sound very appealing... It's pretty good and has oyster crackers in it. How they keep them crunchy I'll never know.

@jon-nyc said in At the FDA: It’s going to be a cruel four years. Yep. I was reading an article about food safety as well, which has heretofore not been perfect, but is about to go down the toilet.

If you’re a Democrat jettisoning insular faculty-lounge progressivism in favor of a Whig-like working-class abundance agenda, you’re fighting Trumpism. David hasn’t learned anything at all.

In trade war with the US, China holds a lot more cards than Trump may think − in fact, it might have a winning hand https://theconversation.com/in-trade-war-with-the-us-china-holds-a-lot-more-cards-than-trump-may-think-in-fact-it-might-have-a-winning-hand-254173

Well let’s see. The average wage in Lesotho is some $5/day. They export $ millions worth of diamonds but no one can afford American stuff. This results in a huge trade imbalance. Tariffs make no sense at all unless your goal is to increase revenue to pay for tax cuts.
