My living room will have a farmhouse table smack in the center of the rectangular floorspace. I've had years to plan it. It will be a dining table, drafting table, puzzle table, and desk. The surface will be wood, no press board, no tile, and smooth. Along the outside might be ancillary pieces of furniture for storage, and a comfortable chair and ottoman. This chair will have a small table with its own light fixture. I'd like to have a bookshelf. The kitchens are not large enough for functional dining room tables. The dining room/ dining room table in my parents' house was the center of the life of the house. I want the same thing.

That would probably not fit my budget!

I did my time with psycho child men. Maybe a Hawaiian adventure had its compensations? Sometimes, when the up sides and the down sides of a decision are all large, it's hard to know how to feel about it. Seeing that night sky on a regular basis must have been amazing.

Mercifully, it was 84 today. Finally, a break!

I cut my own own hair. Why not? I'm practically bald and I look like a chia pet every 2nd or 3rd day if I don't cut it. I can't go to a barber every three days I'm sure I save money but have to take meticulous care of the "appliances." They aren't inexpensive. Maintaining them isn't free, either. Unfortunately, they run on lithium batteries, and this makes them disposable after about a year. The head to the head shaver is expensive and might last six months. Last time I had to take care of this the head shaver was going to die and the low end replacement was only 2x the price of the head, so I just bought a new head shaver. Shaving is easily my most expensive grooming expense.

Just think, today's students will be perfectly prepared to work in today's Health and Human Services Department.

Really? This is why we have all these glued paper covers and everything is wrapped in plastic. I don't like having to cut my way through all that mess. I don't like cotton balls and those moisture absorbing packets deserve a special place in hell.
