    Creating Music Amidst the Noise of Hate

    Beautiful story. You can read or listen; I read it but will go back to listen because there are a couple piano pieces in there on the “glass piano” reconstruction. I may even go downtown to see this exhibit…

          I listened! I definitely recommend listening so you can hear the instrument she made. Very cool!

            I'm glad that listening to the story was suggested; it certainly enhanced the experience by being able to hear the glass piano.

            I went to the link for the exhibit and saw one additional photo. I would have liked to see more. If someone goes to the exhibit, perhaps they will post some additonal pictures.

            This story was more personal for me because of my brother-in-law who was murdered along with 10 others in the antisemitic attack in Pittsburgh on 10/27/2018.

              I am so sorry about this. It's a truly awful, evil thing that I'm very sorry touched your family so personally.

                @Big_Al

                Did you go to the Violins of Hope exhibit when it came to your area? The concert here was sold out and I missed the exhibit that was at my library. I hope it comes back.

                  No, I did not make it to the exhibit or concert. I had it bookmarked but it slipped by me nonetheless.

                    Well, unless we travel to Calgary, looks like we're both out of luck for a while.

                    I wonder if @DeweyLOU 's husband knows the folks at the Violins of Hope organization.
