Weird emojis

While I was writing my post in the other thread (the ones about whether to publish my research article or not), this emoji kept showing up in the predictive text options:

What even is that?? I mean, I guess it’s applicable, but still!

On a laptop if you hover over an emoji it displays a description. That one is "speaking head in silhouette"

Well, that’s certainly descriptive of the emoji, but it’s pretty funny that it kept popping up while I was typing, despite typing none of those words.

AI can be a little freaky.

Yea, my Android phone suggests emojis for my texts all the time. And if I send a text with a question ("Do you want to go for a walk?") and the recipient doesn't answer, the next day it asks me if I want to follow up because I haven't gotten a response.

Thanks Google, I don't want or need the help. There's probably a way to turn it off but I haven't chased that down yet...
