Not for me on multiple fronts. Seems so cold and without any spirit; I would feel like I'm living in some corporation's offices. Or, as you said, a tomb.

And the gardener in me cringes to see how the landscapers massacred those poor trees along the driveway.

Plus I find that as I get older, I want less space, not more.

So a resounding "no", even if I could afford it.

I want an actual Georgian country house in England.

The architecture and gardens have a mesmerizing effect.

That's my "dream house" and they don't cost anything approaching $195,000,000.

Edited to add-- I've seen new built luxury N.Y.C. apartments I could be happy living in for the rest of my life. I like the floorplans, the views, and the "surfaces" (lol). A 2 bedroom or even a 1 bedroom would be my other idea of heaven on earth.

21 acres, you'd like a lot of land!
I picked three very different properties on purpose. But all reasonable sized houses.

I'd like number 3 for its high ceilings and light. Thoroughly modernised and a short walk to the shops.
The modernised bit is important now we've experienced a 'project'. I know nothing of US housing, but here my architect friend warns that anything older than Edwardian (pre-1900) is usually a can of worms.

The modern 195million house lacks something.

I narrowed it down to #2 and #3.

I chose #2 because it seemed minimalist to me in a traditional sense, I liked the land (talk about privacy), and I liked the out buildings, including their arrangement on the property.
