I'm telling you

all here that this a fact now and I have said it already many times.
Link to videoThe replies I have received:
It's not a fact.
It's not happening.
Well, within three years, I predict that everyone will know that it is a fact, that nobody will doubt it, and that it will have passed into conventional wisdom.
And I predict that there will be no equivocation on anyone's part, nor changing stories from the authorities, nor from corporations, nor from the media about it.
NNTTM.

My car autobrakes when it believes I’m going to hit something.
It has never saved me from an accident but it’s almost caused a few.
Disabling it is three levels deep in the menu and only lasts until you turn the car off.
It’s bad in summer when I have my bike rack on. If there’s a bike in it, i can’t reverse. It will sense slight movement of the bike and believe I’m about to hit something.

Same experience with autobrakes as jon-nyc. I haven't found where to turn it off in my car yet. Related and very annoying is that if I'm backing out of a space on a busy street, my steering wheel vibrates, the dashboard lights flash and an alarm rings every damn time a car passes behind me. FFS, I know there's traffic there!
As far as spying, of course today's cars spy. They send speed info the insurance companies. I am led to believe that my car does not do that though, I was adamant with the salesperson.
