What does this mean? Back door into PW?
(Pardon my ignorance…Back door into the CR. It was initially closed to new posts but you could still read what had been posted. At some point it was erased from the list of subfora and you could no longer even read the posts. Unless you found the back door...

Yeah, it changed me. A lot.
I logged on because I wanted to buy a piano and found some of the nastiest, most hate filled people I had ever encountered. I was a moderate, comfortably ensconced in California, and had no idea such people existed, much less that they played the piano.
Hardened me right up. Useful for dealing with people where I live now.

The website reboot didn't do anything. You can't find a way to get to it from PW; there is no link.

BTW, once in the thread @wtg linked, I tried the other links (coffee room and restricted). Both are properly restricted.
That reminds me, I was a moderator in the ABF (like, a million years ago, when I still lived in Japan). When I stepped down, my mod access was not removed for ages. I don't know when it was finally removed, but of course it's long gone at this point.
They were looking for new mods about a month ago, I wonder if they found any.
