I donβt understand the Republican wins in New England.
Deep South sure, but New England?

@Steve-Miller What ones are you talking about?

Red wins in NH, Vermont, others. Close race in Maine.
Seems odd.
NE. The deep south with more snow?

Longtime Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) congratulated Democratic nominee James Talarico on his projected victory over Attorney General Ken Paxton.
βThe voters have spoken, and I want to extend my congratulations to James Talarico on his election to the U.S. Senate,β Cornyn wrote. βI look forward to meeting him and offering my assistance with his transition as he prepares to serve Texans in the U.S. Senate.β

Class act right there. Iβll give him that.

@Steve-Miller I don't know what you're referring to. There was no election in VT today. NH elected Democrat Chris Pappas to the Senate. NH governor's race--as far as I know--is still too close to call. Maine is still being shown as likely Dem. for Senate.

And whatβs up with MN? I was born there, my people still live there
These are not my people.

@Steve-Miller The NYTimes now has Maine and Minn. as 'very likely Democrat'. That's a change from 'likely Democrat'.

Minneapolis and St. Paul finally reported.
This is more what I would expect.
-
And now it looks like Collins is going down in Maine.
Good. She has been a pimple on the butt of progress for far too long.
