I also went to UF for a year and HCC for two years.
I graduated from MS in NY and HS in FL.
If you went to HS, dropped out at 16, went to school learn a trade like my father, anything... I'd like to hear about it.

What did you study for fun at The New School, Jon?
My son is getting a second master's degree. I don't think it's strictly necessary for his job, but it's in computer science, so I am also not sure it's strictly fun, either. Maybe it is for him. lol
As for me, BS from Murray State, MS from Ole Miss, MFA from Rutgers Camden, PhD from U Exeter.
The last two were fun, but the MFA also made the academic career possible. The PhD was good for the academic career and it's currently getting me the opportunity to write academic books for not very much money and to do teaching gigs that are fun and reasonably well-paid.

Got the decals today from campus bookstore.
Cut them in two leaving the original seals unopened.

Went to high school at PHS. Its proximity to Arkansas drew teachers from Arkansas State, which is widely known as an accredited day care center. This became evident when I go to Jesus Tech, aka Central Methodist College, which I attended for one year. For my sophomore year I transferred to the University of Missouri. I walked into a second level economics class and sat near my economic professor from Jesus Tech, who was a student in the class. He was know for saying equilibrum, with emphasis on the second syllable. Someone shouted "equilibrium"in class, which cleared a common question in several minds. I never let an education get in the way of a good time, but I did get a BA in four years. Then came Law School at the University of Missouri. A best friend there became editor of the Law Review, which is a very high academic honor. I was the social director of the largest fraternity at the school. I was rightfully in charge of the parties. I got my degree in 1972 and wondered WTF did I do that for?

I know I talk a lot especially about this so I'll give you a recap.
For thing- New College, my alma mater, has the College Seal it's founders gave it.

The Founders create the College Seal. It's been this way since the 12th century.
Schools create logos; ...use them for different purposes; ...change them; ... get rid of them, ...create new ones, etc.
What you don't do is change the College Seal. The College Seal is the prerogative of the founders.
I've never heard of this being done in the US.
My alma mater has changed the College Seal three (3) times in rapid suffering.
So, leaving out the two changes in the middle chronologically (and I know what they look like and where they still exist in "monumental" form on campus.
Strangely, the one I don't have an image yet of #2 and #3 yet, although I know where to find one of them ("2") on top of the sigh with schools name on it as you drive past it (technically through it) on US41 (Tampa to Miami).
So, now they have a 3rd pretend seal. I'm not making this up. The current "seal" is the logo you see at the top of the link for the campus bookstore.

The "administration" makes up its own rules as it goes along. It's hard to believe but I know it's true.
@andyd This is a national news story here in addition to being a local and state news story.
This is for two reasons.
New College met metrics that could only be compared with a very small group of other schools in a meaningful way for decades.
Then, this should tie it together, DeSantis, a Trump ally, our Governor decided he hated New College with a passion because he said it was "woke". He went about destroying the school and hiding its true history.
Here is the reference I was making. I'm sorry is was opaque.
This history belongs in a library. It does not deserve to be not be remember.
The narrative they're selling is this is and was ever a another school in the state system just small and lacking sports teams.
He first went after Disney. He didn't have the power to do anything to them.
He has succeeded in crushing New College into pulp.
His goal is to turn it into a Christian Nationalist school. He can't do this according to our national Constitution.
I don't think he has a snowflake's chance in hell on this score but then again I have to consider who are the Justice.
