        That sounds great. I hope it’s going to be affordable/on par with epipen.

          Would prefer a sniff to stabbing myself with an EpiPen. I carry one on allergy shot days per doctor's orders. Have never used one, but should have a couple of times.

            @AdagioM

            ARS Pharmaceuticals said in a call with investors that the list price for a two-pack of Neffy will be $710. However, the co-pay cost will be lower than those of brand-name and generic injectors, ARS said, and Neffy’s shelf life is longer: 30 months, compared with about 18 months for autoinjectors.

            ARS Pharmaceuticals said that for people with commercial insurance that covers the drug, the price out of pocket would be no more than $25 for two single-use devices, via a co-pay program. For certain people who don’t have insurance coverage or who face high out-of-pocket costs, the company said, the price would be $199 for two doses of Neffy. For other those who can’t afford the medicine, the company said it would provide it for free.

              Nice. I was worried that it won't work for someone who cannot suck air in (e.g., a person undergoing shock with constricted airway). But glad to read it says:

              The person doesn’t need to be breathing or snort the medication, he said; it’s automatically absorbed by the nasal mucosa.

                There will be doctors.

                My allergists have never allowed an EpiPen that is older than 12 months (which I think is generally the expiration date on the box), and they subtly encourage you to get a new EpiPen every six months.
