Remembering Zorba
-
Zorba was a long time member of these communities and I'm pretty sure almost all of you remember him.
But, to refresh your memory, he is a male belly dancer (keeping it real) and his unofficial motto was **** Facebook.
Well, I resisted signing up for Facebook until today.
I want to use Facebook MP.
It took me two days. I first downloaded the app yesterday. It wouldn't let me complete an account set up.
Today, it wouldn't let me complete an account set up.
Third time's the charm because I immediately started again and was successful.
I remember Zorba as being unusual and thought the bluntness of his "tell me what you really think" opinion about Facebook was refreshing.
Btw, I run into these software quagmires all the time. I think that this kind of software protocol has become overly complicated. I don't know why. My advice, if you have the same problem, is just keep trying.

Here's his webpage:

I found Zorba's sewing machine page a number of years ago when I was looking for info on a Reversew machine...

Fascinating. Itβs like archeology, finding people who have seemed to disappear.

This is great! I haven't been on Facebook but most of the people I know are on it. It's like having a crystal ball!
I've found my local Facebook MP listings.
I'm trying to contact a free scrap metal haul place. There's actually three. It keeps glitching before I can send a message.
Strange things like asking me the same questions over and again. Not accepting my answers. Telling me I've tried too many times and try again later.
I should probably give up for today. π€ͺ
