I watched almost an hour of highlights and the trophy ceremony.

The youngest man to win a career Grand Slam a record 88 years in the making.

It's interesting how the living legend Rafael Nadal has become the elder statesman of the men's game.

Unless I'm mistaken, he's the best clay court player who's lived to date.

I like how the sides of the net light up when the ball is out.

10 minutes of Alcatraz's most incredible shots.

So, Alcatraz and Sinner (Italian iirc) are ranked #1 and #2, Alcatraz with 13,xxx. Pts and Sinner with 10,xxx.

If you look at #3, it's 6,xxx. It drops off in a precipitable way at #4 with about 50% of points vs the top two

Apparently, Alvarez and Sommer had a serious bromance a couple years ago when the story is Sinner got pissed off, or lost respect for Alvarez, or something like that.

My commentary😜: Alvarez is dominating men's tennis with a level of play that hasn't been seen until now. It must have become apparent at some point when it had previously been up in the air that Alvarez was on a higher trajectory in their career paths.

There's always possible health and injury issues so we'll see.

That's awesome. I wish we had kept our fantastic seats at the Cincinnati open. We've seen the changing of the guard so many times and so many thrilling matches.

But as they said in one of the later Rocky movies, "Time...it's undefeated.".
