Greetings from Michigan!

We’re trailer camping, trying out a new service called Harvest Host. It’s kind of the AirBnb of campsites.
First stop, Montrose Orchards in Montrose, MI. A real working apple orchard with a farm store on premises. Camped in a grassy clearing in some woods with trees all around. No one else around. Idyllic! Even better was the price - free! They encourage you to buy things in their store, which we did.

Farm store. Bought an embarrassing number of pumpkins, also apples and tomatoes.

@Steve-Miller sounds great! I couldn't open the first photo, but the other two are very nice, very fall-y!

Not all Harvest Host sites are out in the country. Our site tonight is parked alongside an antique mall in Livonia, across the street from a Ford plant. It’s quiet enough and this site has electricity - good because it turns out our batteries are shot.

Same deal as the other site - no charge if we shop in the store. Happy to oblige, and we picked up a nice little Frankoma pitcher, a Hess Oil toy truck for grandson Jack and a cool mid-century pillow.
More pumpkins under the bags.

One more trip before I winterize the trailer and store it for the winter.
