    Here the NHS is starting to vaccinate against covid once more, the immuno-suppressed, such as my sister, have been sent appointments.

      Jodi I didn't realize it was you that got Covid--I thought you meant Steve. If it makes you feel any better, I got it for the first time last year a month after getting my fourth booster--so apparently the booster didn't help much. What did help was Paxlovid--a day after taking it, I felt almost normal.

      Having said all that, I am going to get both Covid and flu shots this week. I think I can just walk in at CVS....

        There seems to be a misconception about what the vaccine/boosters accomplish. They don't seem to keep you from catching Covid - but what they are really good at is keeping you from spiraling down into needing to go to the hospital. The jury still seem to be out as to whether additional boosters are needed to keep an infection from needing hospital care.
