Gov. Abbott wants them in Texas. He can have them.

I’m not sure why Abbott wants them so bad. They inhale power, make noise, and provide very few jobs.

Interesting that a lot of the plants in Texas are ones relocated from China when the government there outlawed them.

It used to be that we export that stuff we don’t want to China, like used plastic for recycling. Now Texas takes stuff that China doesn’t want?!

@Axtremus Did the Chinese outlaw them for technical reasons such as power consumption and noise or because they were producing cryptocurrency, a medium of exchange that circumvents government control?

I will say that I'm no fan of cryptocurrencies. I don't think they're a preferable alternative to fiat currencies controlled by central banks and governments. They seem like financial anarchy to me.
