Joe Biden has aggressive prostate cancer

Thing is they were people of their times. Even Q. Victoria wanted to "teach the Irish a lesson" (a la Cromwell).
How do you judge Henry8 and his quest for a son? or Richards holy wars?Same with your Presidents. FDR was in charge when we firebombed Japanese cities.
Charles is well intentioned, well read, but the Royals are now a bit of an anachronism.

I remember being in high school watching Charles and Diana get married. He kind of strangled his engagement with his famous quote-- "whatever love means."
I paid attention to her and everything she did until she died.
I sat through the five hour funeral. I watched the entire five hours again years later.
For me personally, nobody will ever compare to her.

@AndyD Probably all of them with the possible exception of Kennedy. Good question. I'll have to think about it more.

The Kennedy who escalated your Vietnam war to include chemical weapons used against flora and fauna?

I think you're thinking of Johnson.

You're right, but...
Reminding myself by reading a bit of the history:JFK sent thousands of advisors (i.e. Special Ops) to stop the advances of communism.
His fears meant he promoted the R&D of sprayed defoliants, authorising the USAF to use chemical herbicides on Vietnam from January 1962.
His decision caused cancer in 3 million people.(And it was JFK who set the US on a course of deepening Vietnamese involvement and disaster).
-
@AndyD I take your point.
I think personally it was "the military industrial complex" from Eisenhower's famous speech who would have been more responsible for the use of chemical weapons.
I think so because I've seen histories claiming to show proof Kennedy was going to end the Vietnam war (a war I have deplored all my life, fwiw).
I know for a fact he wanted to break up the CIA (a holdover from its precursor counterpart in WWII).
It's only my personal belief but I believe Kennedy was assassinated to give Johnson free reign in Vietnam.
Johnson had his own personal hitman with about nine kills including his own sister.
He was monstrous.
Johnson is the one who escalated Vietnam to the point of infamy and profited obscenely from it.
Remember Kennedy was assassinated in 1963 and the war went on for another ten years.
