Oh my goodness! The article doesn't mention wind, but what else could explain it? How awful!!

Update with some additional info on the weather. Count of injured isn't up to date, though. There were 15 injured but all expected to survive.

Hmm

32 mph (51 kph) gusting to 40 mph (65 kph).

is that especially or unusually high for wind speeds in the winter?
