Jeep running ads on dash screen

I just read that new Jeeps keep ads running on their dashboard infotainment screens and you cannot turn them off. If I bought one of those without knowing about it I’d probably take a hammer to it.
Wanna know why Jeep is losing money? It’s brilliant decisions like this one.

@Steve-Miller I tried to find an article about that but was unsuccessful. OTOH, I found a ton of articles about how the engines on some Jeeps keep running even when the ignition is switched off...

The ads thing is the topic of discussion on Reddit and several other enthusiasts forums.
Not sure how they’ve kept it out of the papers.
