I really love the coziness of her home. Bonus points because she has a golden retriever.

You guys will probably be appalled at the location of the grand piano.

Video tour. And photos, for those who are inclined to prefer them....😀

At first I thought, oh no problem, because there's a roof over the outdoor space on the other side of those windows. But then I saw that the whole wall opens, and there's a pool out there...

So yeah, moreso than the windows and sunlight concerns, I bet the humidity and temperature fluctuates like crazy there. If you had a dampp chaser installed on the piano, it might be ok, but I bet it's hard to keep in tune because of all the fluctuating. Still I'm sure if she cares, she has no problem getting a tuner in there regularly! And it's a beautiful piano!

I have no idea who you could be referring to.... 😅

For the record, I didn't actually watch the video. I jumped around in it to find the spots with the piano, sound off.

      😆

        Nice!

Years ago I did some design consultation and project management work for a new house in Laguna Beach where the client wanted a disappearing glass wall like that. There were two challenges - no internet, and the client did not want to see any seams when the glass was closed.

Found the product being used as the front of a shopping mall store. Coordinated between the manufacturer, the architect, and the contractor.

Fun project. Insanely expensive and very tricky to get right.

Love it, just too tidy ... I suppose they all "clean up" before letting the photographer take pictures, just a matter of "how much" each has to do before picture time. :man-shrugging:
