Can a head of state of a foreign nation vote in a US election. Interesting question. Complicated answer.

The authority in this matter would seem to be the Church.

          Ok. Fine by me.

This reminds me of "dual citizenship".

Loyalty to one nation and its constitution and loyalty to a second nation and its constitution simultaneously.

That's what duel citizenship is when you break it down, no?

It's clearly legal under international law being a circumstance as common as dirt.

It seems sonewhat incoherent to me.

We vote by dropping our ballots in county ballot boxes. The mail is not as reliable as it was before.

We don't have vote-by-mail nor early voting nor absentee voting (except for a handful of special reasons).

                The industrial revolution cheapened everything.

We don’t have polling places any more; it’s all vote by mail or ballot drop box. We vote at the kitchen table. Works for Oregon!

We have a whole slew of choices.

                    1. Early polling sites. Scattered around (not your "regular" election day site) but still very close. They open maybe three weeks before the election and the last day of voting is the day before election day.

                    2. You can request that a ballot be sent to you. Comes via USPS. It's tracked by the county, so they send you an email when they send it out, when you return it, and when it is processed. You can return it via USPS or drop it off at an early voting site. We had one ballot get lost via USPS so now we drop it off.

                    3. Regular polling places on election day.
