I have two, if I needed a third bag of any type I'd have three. Leather quality and fittings are top class

It fits folders like a glove.
I got it about a week ago.
I got rid off my backpack.
I got rid of the Toscanella travel bag I got in 2025.
And they stopped making it (and many others).
I kept this one-

It's a sling bag but after you use it for a few years the leather relaxes and bends.
Then you see it's actually an ancient sling bag design that would have been used to plant seeds.
I bought their recommended product and cleaned it.
I'm done. I'm keeping these two.

This is my bicycle bag. It attaches to loops on the back of the saddle. Made in Connecticut with a quality canvas fabric imported from England. I wish I could find this look in a shoulder bag. -

This brings me to ask what type of second bag are you looking for- I mean what type of bag do you need and what do you want to use it for?
@Daniel oh, I like the dimensions of the old Travelon bag, about 10” by 10” with interior (and a couple exterior) pockets for phone, sunglasses, reading glasses, various cards. Space for charging cable, pillbox, pens/pencils, folded shop bags, whatever. I guess RFID protection, not sure how important that is. Sturdy hardware, an understated clean look.
It’s for everyday use. It should go with me everywhere. I carry keys and cash elsewhere.

It took me a long time to know my sling bag was "the one".
It took me some trial and error. The "study abroad" leather bag was too small.
Backpack was good when I didn't have a car but wasn't comfortable with security when using both shoulder straps.
My messenget bag is large enough for general use.
It's also is a stealth briefcase.
I've been handling massive amounts of paperwork, forms, documents, etc. for a couple years, and I'm still doing that.

Yikes.
Every leather product made gets torn down aftermarket and researched by someone somewhere.
The same thing happens with tech products apparently.

@chas I've always flown with one carry on and put it under my seat.
Exception in the beginning when we'd have plastic "hard-sided" suitcases.
Suitcases of course were still "a thing".
They let you fly alone as a child (like 6 yrs old) back then.
I did and ditched the suitcase.
My dream bag is hard-case actually.
(I like leather, wood, stone, paper, like that, boxes; I'm a nerd).
It's the traditional briefcase at the TimeResistance site. Black.
The best quality craftsmanship, less than $600. Unreal.
Many here use a briefcase or have, but it's the last type of bag that would suit me.
In the old blues songs, you needed "a suitcase and a trunk".
I don't know who was supposed to be on hand to move the trunk.

Interesting to see what you all use, and why.
I used to have what used to be called a
fanny pack (now a belt pack?) but I felt it looked droopy and unbecoming, especially after long use. That’s why I now prefer a shoulder bag.For under-the-seat air travel I have a second-hand soft briefcase, with some business logo on it, but fits 8 1/2 x 11 papers and other stuff. Even my 12.9-inch iPad.
I bought a rather large Timbuktu messenger bag for very large music scores, 11 x 17, but seldom really need it. It’s pristine. I could probably resell it easily.
A related topic could be rolling carts, which exist in variety here in New York because so much shopping is done on foot, but are probably uncommon elsewhere. Covered granny carts. Folding 4-wheel wagons. And some contraptions I’ve never seen before.
